Corporate Social Responsibility

Our commitments -

Now and in the future.

Being a hunter is about more than chasing after game. It’s about making responsible choices and preserving the tradition for future generations. Just as hunting traditions endure, our products are designed to last. We craft with longevity in mind by creating quality products using quality materials in a timeless style.

We are always looking for new ways to make positive strides in our industry. This is a natural progression for us and our brands, Härkila and Seeland. Living in harmony with nature, which is the core of our passion, will demand more of us as a society – and equally of us as a company.

Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives reflect our dedication to preserving the environment and contributing to a more sustainable future.

We impose stringent certification requirements on our partners and manufacturers, including:

  • Raw Materials

Whenever possible, our products incorporate materials such as BCI cotton, recycled polyester, recycled wool and LENZING™. We strive to choose these responsible materials to reduce our environmental impact.

  • Human Rights

Most of our suppliers are certified by amfori BSCI, the SA8000® Standard, the Fair Wear Foundation and the Fair Labor Foundation. Additionally, all suppliers must sign our Code of Conduct, which covers human and labor rights, environmental/climate responsibilities, anti-corruption and animal welfare.

  • Textile Safety

We ensure textile safety through our PFAS-free manufacturing starting in 2025 and by adhering to OEKO-TEX® 100 and bluesign® SYSTEM standards.

  • Ethically-Sourced Wool

We request Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) certification and require a mulesing-free certificate for wool originating from Australia.

  • Down and Feathers

We use down that is naturally shed or sourced as a by-product of the food industry.

  • Green Logistics

We ship our products with DHL, supporting their 2050 zero-emissions target.
